Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Delivery Driver with Vital Care Infusion Services of Hattiesburg and become the vital link between our company and valued customers! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and supplies to various retail locations and clients. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service, combined with your organizational skills and driving expertise, will ensure timely deliveries and positive client interactions. Duties Safely operate commercial vehicles, including trucks and automobiles, adhering to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safe lifting practices. Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills to maximize productivity and meet delivery deadlines. Load and unload merchandise with proper heavy lifting techniques, ensuring safety for yourself and others. Communicate clearly with clients upon delivery, building strong customer relationships through friendly service and professional conduct. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and route logs for compliance and reporting purposes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met and report any maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience in commercial driving is preferred. Strong knowledge of route driving, traffic laws, and DOT regulations. Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting practices. Proven organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and documentation efficiently.
