Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to safely transport and deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers. In this fast-paced, customer-focused role, you'll operate late-model equipment, perform pre/post-trip inspections, unload products using hand trucks or pallet jacks, verify orders, and provide excellent service at each stop. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL A tractor-trailer on assigned delivery routes Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT and company standards Unload products using hand trucks or pallet jacks and deliver to designated customer areas Verify orders, obtain signatures, and complete required delivery paperwork and electronic logs Provide professional, courteous customer service at each stop, resolving basic delivery issues Adhere to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and food handling standards Secure loads properly to prevent damage and ensure safe transport Communicate route issues, delays, or equipment concerns to dispatch or supervision Maintain clean, organized tractor and trailer, reporting any maintenance needs Support a performance-driven, teamwork-focused culture while meeting delivery schedules Required Skills CDL A truck driving Route delivery operations DOT compliance Electronic logging (ELD) use Vehicle inspection and maintenance checks Pallet jack and hand truck operation Time management and scheduling Load securement Customer service Basic paperwork and manifest completion
