Job Description
Cape Point Bait is a successful and growing wholesale distributor of recreational quality fishing bait products, serving retailers from GA to DE. We are searching for dependable full-time delivery driver for regional coastal routes. Our drivers deliver frozen fish and bait products to bait and tackle, wildlife, and retail customers on a scheduled delivery route Tue-Fri. The driver interacts with customers over the phone and in person, helps customers with bait selection, and stocks retail customer freezer shelves. Drivers must be able to handle 10-12 hr. days of physical work. Overnight travel may be required approximately 1-2 nights per week during the busy season of May-Oct. Commercial Driver's License (CDL) not required. Commercial driver medical certification and drug testing will be performed as part of application process. Selection Criteria Must pass DOT medical exam Pass pre-employment drug screening Clean driving record with 2+ years driving experience Capable of following DOT regulations and company policies Strong communication skills & exceptional customer service Physically able to lift 50lbs from floor to waist height Experience driving box trucks (under 26,000lbs) Good eye for detail to accurately deliver correct products High school diploma or equivalent Knowledge of saltwater fishing related products and techniques desirable In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States.
