Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM start until route completion We are seeking a Delivery Driver Assistant/Lumper to assist a CDL-A Driver with deliveries to customer locations including restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, and other food service accounts. This position involves riding along in a refrigerated (reefer) truck and helping unload food products at each stop using a pallet jack and manual labor. Candidates must be comfortable with a physically demanding role that includes frequent heavy lifting throughout the workday. While most routes are completed the same day, occasional overnight or two-day routes may be required. Applicants must be willing and able to accommodate these routes as needed. Responsibilities Assist the CDL-A Driver with deliveries and unloading activities Unload food products using pallet jacks and manual handling techniques Move product into restaurants, grocery stores, and other customer locations Verify and organize deliveries at each stop Follow safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance at customer sites Help ensure accurate and timely delivery of products Requirements Pallet jack experience required Ability to perform heavy lifting on a consistent basis throughout the shift Ability to work in a physically demanding environment Dependable attendance and reliable transportation Ability to start work at 5:30 AM Comfortable with occasional overnight/two-day routes when required Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Preferred Qualifications Previous delivery, warehouse, food distribution, or lumper experience Experience working around refrigerated products and fast-paced delivery schedules Bilingual in English/Spanish This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy active, hands-on work and are comfortable working early mornings in a fast-paced delivery environment.
