Overview We are seeking a reliable and experienced Furniture Delivery / Driver / Warehouse associate to join our team. This role involves delivering furniture to customers, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving background, warehouse experience, and the physical capability to handle heavy lifting and moving tasks. Responsibilities Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles for local deliveries Load and unload furniture items using manual handling techniques Deliver furniture to customers' locations, ensuring timely and accurate route driving Provide exceptional customer service during delivery appointments, including setting up furniture in clients' homes or offices Manage warehouse inventory, organize stock, and prepare items for delivery Assist with route planning to optimize delivery efficiency Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly Follow safety protocols during all warehouse and delivery activities to prevent accidents or injuries Skills Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier, preferably with furniture or heavy goods preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients Warehouse experience including loading/unloading and inventory management preferred but not required Physical strength for heavy lifting, moving furniture, and manual handling tasks Excellent route driving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining safety standards Valid driver's license with a clean driving record This position offers an engaging work environment for individuals who enjoy driving, moving heavy items, and providing outstanding service to customers.
