Georgie's Kitchen is a new food venture backed by Alert Venture Foundry, a Massachusetts-based venture studio. We deliver chef-crafted, chilled meals through proprietary refrigerated dispensers placed throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts. Customers scan a QR code, customize their order from our menu, and pick up their meals at the dispenser location. Behind the machines, our Concord commissary kitchen handles all meal prep, packaging, and fulfillment. We're a growing company, and we're building our team with an eye toward the future — this role has a clear path to full-time as we scale. About the Role This is not a food delivery or courier position. We're seeking Part-Time drivers to tow and transport our large refrigerated equipment dispensers between our Concord commissary and drop-off locations, using a company-provided Ford F-250 pickup truck with trailer — no CDL required. Our first locations are in Billerica, MA and downtown Boston , so the daily route will primarily involve driving and towing in dense urban environments — city streets, tight turns, traffic, and navigating a large trailer into pedestrian-heavy areas and building courtyards. This is not a rural or highway-only route. As we grow, delivery locations across NH and MA will expand and change, so flexibility on routing is part of the job. Initially, you'll be paired with a Driver's Helper to assist with loading and unloading — the dispensers are large and cumbersome, and a second set of hands makes setup safer and faster. Delivery coverage is needed Tuesday through Sunday. We're flexible on how to split the schedule between drivers based on your preferences.
Typical structures include:
3 days each (splitting the week evenly) 2 days and 4 days Whatever combination works best for you and a fellow driver Initially, you'll typically handle one or two drop-off locations per day.
Anticipated Shift Times:
Generally 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM (approximately 5.5 hours), Tuesday through Sunday, with some variation by day and route Wrapped up by early afternoon every day. Great fit for parents, students, second-job holders, retirees, and anyone who wants a schedule that leaves the rest of the day open. What You'll Do Load refrigerated dispensers and equipment into the company-provided F-250 pickup truck and trailer Use a motorized pallet jack to move dispensers and equipment safely and efficiently during loading, unloading, and setup Drive and tow the trailer through urban routes between Concord and locations in Billerica and downtown Boston, with additional locations to follow as we expand Navigate a large vehicle and trailer combination safely in tight city environments, including parking, backing, and maneuvering around pedestrians and traffic Unload and set up dispensers at drop-off locations, working alongside a Driver's Helper Follow cold-chain protocols to maintain product integrity Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate delivery documentation What We're Looking For Valid driver's license with clean driving record Comfortable driving and towing a Ford F-250 pickup truck with a trailer in urban/city conditions — this is the core of the role, not an occasional exception Comfortable using a motorized pallet jack to move dispensers and equipment safely and efficiently during loading, unloading, and setup Reliable, dependable, and punctual — consistent daily starts require someone who can be counted on to show up on time Able to lift up to 50 pounds and load/unload equipment Comfortable with routes that may shift or expand as the company grows Prior delivery driving, route driving, or trailer/towing experience — especially in urban settings — is a strong plus Ideally, Forklift Certification and experience Why Join Georgie's Kitchen $28/hr with a consistent daytime schedule Wrapped up by early afternoon — no late nights, no overnight routes Company-provided truck and trailer — no wear and tear on your personal vehicle Ground-floor opportunity with a growing food venture, and a real path to full-time as we scale — including a mix of delivery work and additional facility support Paired with a Driver's Helper initially to make loading and unloading easier
