Overview Join our dynamic team as a Wholesale Wine Distributor/Associate and become a vital part of delivering exceptional service and quality products to our valued clients. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for managing product displays and inventory, delivering product daily, and ensuring the smooth operation of our wholesale wine distribution process. Duties Pull and organize customer orders from delivery from vaults as directed by pick list. Manage merchandising efforts by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and cleaning to maintain attractive product presentation in all our wholesale outlets Conduct upselling techniques to promote featured products and increase sales volume Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering tasting samples, and ensuring a positive shopping experience Maintain accurate inventory levels through stock checks and merchandising updates Support supervising staff during busy periods by overseeing daily operations and ensuring compliance with store policies Requirements Previous retail sales experience, preferably in grocery stores or specialty beverage outlets Heavy lifting up to 50lbs Excellent attendance and reliability are critical Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities in a retail setting Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about wine varieties and pairings Knowledge of merchandising standards, stocking procedures, and grocery store operations Excellent phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries professionally and courteously Employment requires passing a CORI, possession of a valid driver's license, and have maintained a clean driving record.
