The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting and loading/unloading tasks. The Delivery Driver will operate various vehicles, including box trucks and vans, and may also utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Duties Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods to designated locations. Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that all items are secured for transport. Utilize pallet jacks and forklifts as necessary to assist with loading and unloading tasks. Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all paperwork is completed correctly. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any questions or concerns from clients. Follow all traffic laws and company policies to ensure safe driving practices. Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure the delivery vehicle is in good working condition. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving or courier services preferred. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading. Familiarity with using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility in working hours, including potential overtime or weekend shifts as needed.
