This role involves transporting furniture efficiently and safely to various locations, ensuring excellent customer service and timely deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, experience with commercial vehicles such as box trucks, and the ability to handle physical tasks associated with loading and unloading. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction are top priorities. Responsibilities Safely operate a 16"-26" box truck or similar commercial vehicle for route driving and deliveries. Inspect, wrap and load and unload furniture at customers homes. Ensure accurate delivery of products to customers, maintaining high standards of customer service. Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Assist with warehouse tasks including moving inventory, organizing stock, and maintaining cleanliness. Perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure proper functioning. Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip. Qualifications Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar role involving route driving. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Experience operating box trucks or similar commercial vehicles, including manual transmission if applicable. Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical moving tasks safely. Warehouse experience is a plus, especially familiarity with forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse operations. Prior experience with route planning and navigation tools is preferred. This position is vital for ensuring our customers receive their orders promptly and professionally while maintaining safety standards across all operations.
