Job Description
Delivery Technician — Sierra Oxygen Service Sierra Oxygen Service delivers home oxygen and medical equipment to patients across Reno, Dayton, Gardnerville, and Carson City. Our delivery technicians are often the most important face our patients see, and we're looking for someone reliable, personable, and hands-on to join our team.
Compensation:
Starting at $18/hour, plus health, dental, and vision benefits, aSIMPLE IRA

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide exceptional customer service to patients, caregivers, and medical providers Complete home safety evaluations and educate patients/caregivers on the safe use of home oxygen and medical equipment Set up, orient, and demonstrate safe operation of oxygen and home medical equipment Obtain return demonstration from patients/caregivers to confirm they understand safe use of equipment ordered Accurately pick and compile ordered supplies and equipment Assist with warehouse duties including stocking, rotating inventory, receiving, shipping, cleaning equipment, placing orders, and facility maintenance Gather all required documentation, technology, and patient education materials for each delivery Organize delivery routes to meet therapy and patient schedules on time Call patients/caregivers to schedule deliveries and proactively inform them if a scheduled timeframe can't be met Pick up discontinued equipment Maintain a clean delivery vehicle and bring it in for scheduled maintenance Lift/move up to 50 lbs unassisted; must pass a pre-employment physical exam, including DOT physical if applicable to vehicle classRequirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred Valid driver's license with a good driving record Must be 21 years or older Previous delivery and/or warehouse experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent verbal communication skills Comfortable using a smartphone and tablet Available for flexible hours, alternate shifts, on-call rotations, overtime as needed, and every-other-weekend on-call Must pass a pre-employment background checkJob Type:
