Part-Time CDL Class A Truck Driver Job Summary We are seeking a responsible and professional Part-Time CDL Class A Truck Driver to operate company-owned trucks safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering freight loads, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring timely deliveries. This role offers flexibility for drivers who are committed to safety, professionalism, and excellent customer service. Duties Operate a company-owned 2019 International LT truck safely and professionally, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. Pick up and deliver assigned freight loads to various destinations, including out-of-state locations as required. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition. Secure and transport freight safely, ensuring proper handling and documentation throughout each trip. Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation in compliance with DOT regulations. Communicate effectively with dispatch throughout each trip to provide updates on progress or any issues encountered. Meet scheduled pickup and delivery times consistently, demonstrating reliability and punctuality. Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and procedures to promote a safe working environment. Maintain the truck in a clean and safe operating condition at all times. Skills Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating large commercial trucks, preferably with recent experience in similar roles. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards related to commercial driving. Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with dispatch and customers. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively for scheduled pickups and deliveries. Physical ability to handle freight securely and perform necessary inspections. This position is ideal for drivers seeking part-time work who prioritize safety, professionalism, and timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Pay:
$750.00 - $1,000.00 per week
