Job Overview:
THIS IS PRIMARILY A DRIVING POSITION
- We are looking for someone dependable who can be counted on to get materials where they need to be safely and on time with light vehicle maintenance , including oil changes and other basic routine maintenance. Valid Driver's License Required Clean Driving Record is a MUST Reliability and Dependability are a MUST Pay is based on experience. We are a fast-paced plumbing and utility company seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for delivering materials, tools, and equipment to active job sites and will also include light vehicle maintenance and general upkeep of company vehicles. Responsibilities Safely load, transport, and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites in a timely manner. Verify delivery orders and materials before departure and upon delivery. Comply with all safety regulations and traffic laws while operating company vehicles. Maintain a professional attitude and appearance when interacting with supply houses, vendors, customers, and job-site personnel. Perform light vehicle maintenance , including oil changes and other basic routine maintenance. Assist with general upkeep of company vehicles, including checking fluids, tire pressure, lights, and other basic vehicle components. Identify and report vehicle maintenance or repair needs promptly. Assist with general shop, yard, and material organization as needed. Handle company tools, equipment, and materials responsibly. Qualifications Valid driver's license. Clean driving record required. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and willingness to perform routine maintenance. Ability to safely lift, load, and unload construction materials and equipment. Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Class B CDL and Mechanical experience is a plus.
