  • Large Fitness & Wellness Equipment (Independent Contractor) Commonplace is a logistics platform that handles pickup and delivery of large, bulky fitness and wellness items such as Pelotons, Tonal machines, treadmills, rowers, hot tubs, saunas, and gym equipment.
We're looking for reliable, professional drivers to complete contracted deliveries in your area. Drivers use their own vehicle (truck, van, or box truck capable of handling large items) and work as independent contractors. You choose which jobs you want to accept and set your own schedule around them. What the work involves Accepting jobs through the driver app and confirming your availability Completing pickups from sellers and deliveries to buyers, including basic assembly and troubleshooting when needed Many jobs require two people, so you'll need access to a helper on larger or more complex deliveries Items can be technical, so comfort with following checklists, taking photos, and handling equipment carefully is important Must be able to lift 100+ lbs safely Communication expectations Clear and timely communication is one of the most important parts of the role. You'll need to: Respond to texts and app notifications promptly Confirm pickup and delivery windows in advance Give accurate ETAs and updates if anything changes Keep both the seller and buyer informed throughout the job Sellers and buyers expect professional, responsive service, and our best drivers stand out because they communicate well. Pay and process Compensation is paid per completed delivery and varies based on the item type, distance, and complexity. Larger or longer jobs pay more. You'll receive a payout link after successful delivery and can choose bank transfer, Venmo, Cash App, or PayPal. A successful delivery means the item is delivered, assembled if required, confirmed working, checklists completed with signatures, and no damage to the home.
