Resident Transportation Driver - Part-Time or Full-Time Mt. Washington Care Center is looking for dependable and compassionate Resident Transportation Drivers to join our team! We are looking for two part-time drivers OR one full-time driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for our residents to medical appointments, therapy, outings, activities, and other scheduled trips. STNAs/CNAs are encouraged to apply! STNAs/CNAs hired into this position will be paid at the applicable STNA rate. What You'll Do Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, therapy, outings, activities, and other scheduled destinations Assist residents with safely entering and exiting the facility vehicle Work closely with the Transportation Specialist to coordinate schedules, appointments, and resident transportation needs Communicate promptly regarding schedule changes, delays, resident concerns, or vehicle issues Complete required transportation documentation Perform basic vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns Keep the facility vehicle clean, organized, and ready for use Provide friendly, respectful, and compassionate service to residents Follow all facility transportation, safety, and resident-care procedures Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality Represent Mt. Washington Care Center professionally while out in the community What We're Looking For Valid driver's license Clear driving record Ability to successfully pass a background check Dependable and reliable attendance Safe and responsible driving habits Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to work well with the Transportation Specialist and other facility staff Patient, friendly, and compassionate attitude Ability to assist residents with entering and exiting the vehicle Experience driving a 15-passenger bus or similar passenger vehicle is a plus Previous healthcare, senior living, or resident transportation experience is a plus, but not required
