Delivery Driver AgPro Ohio - 2.5 Norton, OH Job Details Full-time 3 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications Outdoor work experience In-person customer service Full Job Description Position Summary Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership while serving as a key support member of overall branch operations. This role is responsible for equipment transportation, loading and unloading, customer support, facility and shop upkeep, equipment preparation, and assisting all departments as needed. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute wherever necessary to support efficient dealership operations and deliver an exceptional customer experience in accordance with our Strong on Service standards. Job Duties Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities; may also pick up new equipment from a John Deere factory. Supports the sales department with equipment delivery, setup, customer demonstrations, and related activities as needed. Performs loading, unloading, securing, staging, and movement of operational and non-operational equipment. Assists with off-site pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and equipment preparation activities. Operates forklifts and other equipment in accordance with company policies, training, and safety requirements. Assists service technicians with equipment movement, setup, assembly, and other shop-related tasks as needed. Maintains records of pickups and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts. Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA, and company policy. Accounts for all time and distance traveled in performing assigned duties. Monitors assigned vehicle and trailer condition, reports maintenance needs, and helps ensure all transportation equipment remains clean, safe, and operational. Performs general facility maintenance, housekeeping, shop cleanup, organization, and grounds upkeep to maintain a safe and professional environment. Supports inventory movement, yard organization, and other operational activities throughout the dealership. Follows and exemplifies the company's Strong on Service standards while interacting with customers and coworkers. Provides professional customer assistance and may instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures. Works collaboratively across departments and assists with operational needs as business demands require. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent experience. Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record. Experience transporting equipment, operating trailers, or operating commercial vehicles preferred. CDL preferred but not required. Forklift experience preferred. Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs. repeatedly. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to safety, customer service, and professionalism. Willingness to perform a wide variety of physical, operational, and support tasks within the dealership environment. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions. What Success Looks Like The successful candidate understands that this is not solely a driving position. This role is an essential operations support position that contributes to equipment delivery, customer satisfaction, shop efficiency, facility upkeep, and overall dealership success. Team members in this role are expected to assist across departments as needed and embrace a flexible, team-oriented approach to supporting branch operations.
