Job Description

Delivery Driver/General Labor SUMMARY:
Provides manual labor to support the activities and operations of the Cultivation/Processing/Packaging Department(s), while abiding by policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure that all products are packaged in a clean, safe manner that is in line with the Standard Operating Procedures
  • Delivers all scheduled deliveries in a timely and professional manner
  • Contacts office
IMMEDIATELY
when errors or issues occur
  • Verifies all package ID and Manifest before leaving facility
  • Process and complete all documents
  • Maintain vehicle maintenance
  • Verifies all packaged materials and labels correspond
  • Works in correspondence with Packaging Manager to ensure the quality control and fulfillment of each sales order while following all Standard Operating Procedures
  • Responsible for following all operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information and polices when performing duties
  • Maintains open communication with management and team
  • Recognizes and reports any employee issues, product situations, and maintenance issues to proper departments
  • Understands extended hours and/or maintains a flexible schedule as hours may vary Monday-Friday
  • Performs all other duties assigned

  • Must be 21 years of age and pass FBI and BCI background checks, obtain a clean and valid drivers license

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Individual moves about all facility areas or standing on their feet about 40% of the time while completing various duties and task. The individual will occasionally be stationary while doing detail-oriented task. They will use their hands continuously while performing all job duties. Most of the activities involve fine and gross manipulation of items. They must be able to exchange accurate information with other individuals in the office and facility. Must be able to detect facility issues and maintenance problems from to determine what plan of action needs to be taken. They must regularly lift, push, pull and/or move at least 50 pounds. The individual must be capable of carrying and loading different parts and tools required to do the job.
WORK ENVIROMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Employees are required to wear personal protective equipment as well as a sterile uniform when entering certain facility areas that does not leave the facility. The individual will be exposed to loud machinery or equipment.
