Job Description

Looking for A Driver responsible for transporting goods, packages, or food items to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner. The role involves loading and unloading deliveries, following assigned routes, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver products to customers according to scheduled routes. Load, unload, and secure items to prevent damage during transport. Verify delivery information, including addresses and customer signatures. Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operation. Follow traffic laws, company policies, and safety procedures. Maintain delivery logs, receipts, and other required documentation. Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, or customers regarding delivery status. Handle customer inquiries and resolve basic delivery issues professionally. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or delays promptly.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred). Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Must be able to pass a preemployment drug screen and be subjected to randoms during employment.  Ability to lift and carry packages (up to 150 lbs in rare situations) Strong time-management and organizational skills. Basic navigation and route-planning abilities. Good communication and customer service skills.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in delivery, transportation, or logistics. Familiarity with GPS devices and mobile delivery applications. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns.
Working Conditions:
Frequent driving and extended periods of sitting. Regular lifting, carrying, and moving of packages. Exposure to varying weather evening, weekend, or holiday shifts. Must be over 21 years of age. Must have delivery experience that can be verified.
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
