Affordable Pet Supply is currently seeking a Delivery Driver to join our team! As a driver, you will be responsible for transporting products to independent pet stores located throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, reliable, and have a good driving record. This role involves operating our delivery truck, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers (store owners and employees.) Duties Safely operate delivery trucks to transport goods to designated stores. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations. Load/unload products with warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts. Manage the delivery schedule effectively to ensure timely arrivals. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients. Handle heavy lifting and moving of products as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during transit. Qualifications Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial driving experience preferred Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively. Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks. Familiarity with delivery equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, preferred Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently while adhering to safety protocols.
