Summary Delivery Driver role focused on reliable, friendly service and efficient parcel or goods transport. You will operate in retail or courier environments, maintaining strong customer relationships, safe driving practices, and accurate handling of deliveries. Core skills include automobile transportation, customer service, and basic math, with premium emphasis on pricing, upselling, and commercial driving. You will report to the operations or logistics supervisor, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries while upholding safety standards and organizational efficiency. Responsibilities Safely operate vehicles for local deliveries, including proper pre-trip inspections and adherence to traffic laws. Pick up, transport, and deliver goods to customers and retail locations while maintaining accurate proof of delivery and delivery paperwork. Build positive customer relationships through courteous communication, problem resolution, and timely updates on delivery status. Assist with loading and unloading, basic inventory control, and ensuring items are secured for transport. Manage routes efficiently, monitor delivery schedules, and upsell where appropriate using core and premium skills. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance checks; report any issues promptly.
