JOB SUMMARY

Drives diesel-powered tractor trailer combination to transport feed from mills to farms. Sunday - Thursday; 4:30pm - Until Finish

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

include the following: Other duties may be assigned. Ability to log in compliance to DOT regulations. Self-Starter Ability to pre and post trip equipment Ability to work 12+ hours per day. Excellent attendance and safety record. Must be able to follow instructions, be very flexible and work independently. Ability to handle on road situations when they occur. Ability to understand weights and scales. Ability to work holidays Knowledge on over weight permits and all rules that apply to local route restrictions Experience in rural route deliveries Excellent understanding of agricultural bio-securities Knowledge of feed mill load out systems (conveyors, trolleys and drop bins)

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).

Minimum 1 year of experience in hauling animal feed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to speak English, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and

procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak

effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
