As a Parts Delivery Driver , you'll be responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment across our dealership, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service.You will:
➤ Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager, inventory control, parts counter, and shipping/receiving teams. ➤ Verify invoices match parts and check payments before leaving for deliveries. ➤ Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures for each delivery. ➤ Unload trucks each night and turn in all paperwork, cores, and undelivered parts. ➤ Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking oil, keeping the truck clean, and ensuring inspections are up to date. ➤ Complete weekly vehicle checklists and consult the branch safety council on any concerns. ➤ Ensure vehicle is equipped with all required safety and operational items (fire extinguisher, safety triangles, first aid kit, GPS, EZ Pass, insurance, registration, fuel card). ➤ Report major truck repairs and maintenance needs to the Parts Manager. ➤ Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and your work vehicle. ➤ Adhere to all health and safety policies, reinforcing a safe working environment.WHAT YOU BRING
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred; 1-3 months of related experience (or equivalent combination).Driving & Safety:
Valid driver's license required, must meet company insurability standards, and be able to drive across county and state lines.Communication Skills:
Able to read instructions and manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.Certifications:
ASE certification or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.Physical Requirements:
Regularly stand and walk; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.WHY WORK WITH US
