Hour Security Experience:

Candidates must have a minimum of one year of relevant security experience (C115). This experience should be clearly outlined in the candidate's resume and discussed during the interview process.

Valid Driver's License:

Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located (C124). Verification of the driver's license will be conducted prior to the final hiring decision.

Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet:

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in using a computer or tablet (B204). This includes familiarity with basic software applications and the ability to navigate digital platforms effectively.

Customer Service Experience:

Candidates must have prior customer service experience (B219). This experience should be highlighted in the candidate's application and further explored during interviews to assess their communication and interpersonal skills.

Day Time Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00

AM How This Role Works:

Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.

Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program:

In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Monitor access points and control entry and exit for personnel, visitors, vehicles, and deliveries in accordance with site requirements. Verify visitor and contractor credentials, issue temporary access credentials, maintain required access records, and direct guests to appropriate locations. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, warehouses, access points, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
