Job Description

Join Amazon as an Amazon Flex Delivery Driver in our Transportation & Logistics team. Using your own vehicle and smartphone, you'll pick up packages from designated locations and deliver them safely and on time to customers. You'll follow app-based routes, manage your schedule by selecting delivery blocks, and provide excellent customer service. This independent contractor-style role requires reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, strong time management, and the ability to lift packages. At Amazon, you'll support a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and bias for action while helping power last-mile delivery. Responsibilities Pick up packages from Amazon delivery stations or partner locations Deliver packages accurately and on time to customers using app-based navigation Follow all traffic laws and Amazon safety guidelines Use the Amazon Flex app to manage routes, scan packages, and report delivery status Communicate professionally with customers when needed Handle packages with care, including loading and unloading from personal vehicle Manage delivery blocks and schedule to meet time windows Resolve basic delivery issues (e.g., access problems, missing information) through the app Maintain a clean, reliable, and properly insured vehicle Represent Amazon's customer-obsessed culture on every delivery Required Skills Route navigation using GPS and mobile apps Smartphone and app usage (Amazon Flex app) Time management and scheduling Safe driving practices Package handling and loading Basic problem-solving in the field Customer service and communication Basic record-keeping within the app (scanning, status updates) Adherence to safety and compliance procedures Vehicle maintenance awareness
