Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardsman to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting various production and warehouse operations within a dynamic factory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work efficiently on assembly lines and with hand or power tools. Prior factory or warehouse experience is preferred, and familiarity with forklift operation and/or skidsteer operation is a plus. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in manufacturing and gain valuable industry experience. Duties Assist with assembly line operations, ensuring smooth workflow and quality standards Operate hand tools and power tools safely for various tasks including assembly, maintenance, and repairs Support the movement of materials using forklifts and other equipment as needed Load, unload, and organize inventory within the warehouse or manufacturing floor Perform general cleaning and organization of work areas to maintain safety and efficiency Support mechanical tasks such as basic troubleshooting or equipment setup under supervision Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment Experience Prior experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environments is highly desirable Familiarity with assembly line processes and use of hand tools or power tools is preferred Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery will be considered an asset Experience operating forklifts or other industrial equipment is a plus but not mandatory Candidates with warehouse experience or familiarity with manufacturing facilities are encouraged to apply This position provides an excellent platform for individuals seeking to build a career in manufacturing or industrial settings.
