Candidates with proven furniture delivery, final-mile, moving, assembly, or similar experience may qualify for higher rates. Experienced Drivers & Helpers Wanted We are looking for reliable, experienced, and customer-focused Drivers and Helpers for our established Ashley Furniture final-mile delivery operation in Smyrna, TN . Individual Drivers and Helpers are encouraged to apply. You do not need to have your own partner. Already have an experienced Driver/Helper partner you work well with? Even better. Established teams are preferred, but not required. We are looking for people who understand that final-mile furniture delivery is about more than moving furniture. You need to be able to work efficiently, manage your time, protect the merchandise and customer's home, assemble furniture correctly, and provide excellent customer service. What You'll Do Drivers and Helpers work together as a two-person delivery crew responsible for: Delivering furniture to customers' homes Safely loading, unloading, carrying, and handling furniture Assembling furniture inside customers' homes as required Protecting floors, walls, doorways, furniture, and customers' property Using our delivery app throughout the workday Reviewing and managing assigned stops Managing time effectively to meet customer delivery windows Communicating professionally with customers and operations Completing required delivery documentation through the app Reporting damages, delivery issues, or exceptions promptly Working efficiently with your assigned Driver or Helper Completing the assigned route safely and professionally Routes vary based on daily delivery volume, stop count, and service area. Crews are expected to safely and professionally complete their assigned route while meeting customer delivery windows.

DRIVER Requirements Drivers must have:

Previous experience driving a 26-ft box truck with a liftgate Experience safely maneuvering a 26-ft box truck in residential areas A valid driver's license and ability to meet applicable driving requirements Final-mile, furniture delivery, moving, appliance delivery, or similar experience Experience safely operating a liftgate and delivery equipment Ability to manage a daily route and customer delivery windows Ability to use a smartphone and delivery app throughout the route Good communication and teamwork skills 26-ft box truck driving experience is required for Driver applicants. HELPER Requirements Helpers should have experience in one or more of the following: Furniture delivery Furniture assembly Moving Final-mile delivery Appliance delivery In-home / white-glove delivery Other similar physically demanding delivery work Helpers must be able to safely carry and maneuver furniture with a partner, assist with assembly, use delivery equipment, protect customers' homes and merchandise, and work efficiently with their assigned Driver. Requirements for ALL Drivers & Helpers All applicants must: Pass a background check Pass a drug test Be reliable, responsible, and punctual Be available for a 5:30 AM start Be able to perform physically demanding furniture delivery work Be comfortable using a smartphone and delivery app Manage time effectively and help keep the route on schedule Follow delivery and customer-service procedures Communicate professionally with customers and operations Maintain a professional appearance and attitude Take care of customers' furniture, homes, and property Work effectively as part of a two-person crew Be dependable and consistently show up for scheduled work Customer Service Is a Priority The delivery crew is the final point of contact with the customer. We expect every Driver and Helper to provide a professional experience from the moment they arrive until the delivery is complete.

Every Friday This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity. Who Does Well Here? We're looking for people who: Show up. Show up on time. Work hard. Take care of the customer. Take care of the furniture. Take care of the truck and equipment. Communicate when there's a problem. Work well with their partner. And take pride in completing the route correctly.
