WHAT DOES A DRY ICE ROUTE SALES/DELIVERY DRIVER DO?
As a Route Sales/Delivery Driver for Reliant Dry Ice, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dry ice to our customers in Austin, Texas and surrounding areas. Your responsibilities include driving a truck to deliver products, collecting payments, and accurately recording transactions. You'll keep our customers informed about new offerings while addressing any service complaints with empathy and professionalism. Additionally, you'll manage inventory levels at customer locations, ensuring they receive the right amount based on their needs. Your role will also involve maintaining the cleanliness of your truck and scheduling routine maintenance. By developing efficient route processes and adapting to new customer deliveries, you will contribute to our mission of excellence and customer satisfaction. Your commitment to safety and reliability will be key as you uphold the high standards of our distribution operations.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
To be successful as a Route Sales/Delivery Driver at Reliant Dry Ice strong communication skills are essential for effectively engaging with customers and addressing their needs. Proficiency with basic math is crucial for handling payments and making change accurately. Additionally, the ability to navigate using route planning tools or software efficiently will help you optimize delivery schedules and ensure timely service. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
