Job Description

Overview We are seeking a reliable and professional Box Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. This role involves operating commercial trucks, specifically 15-foot or 20-foot box trucks, to deliver goods efficiently and safely to various locations. The ideal candidate will have experience with commercial truck driving and be comfortable using a personal vehicle for delivery purposes. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to our logistics operations by ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Responsibilities Prefer a candidate with their own box truck. Safely operate 15-foot or 20-foot box trucks for daily delivery routes. Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled carefully and securely. Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption. Verify delivery addresses, obtain signatures when required, and maintain accurate delivery records. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance. Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck to ensure operational readiness.

Skills Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or appropriate licensing for operating box trucks. Experience with commercial truck driving, particularly with 15-foot or 20-foot box trucks. Ability to operate a personal vehicle for deliveries when necessary. Strong knowledge of safety procedures and traffic laws related to commercial driving. Excellent time management skills and the ability to follow scheduled routes precisely. Good communication skills for interacting with team members and customers. Attention to detail in handling deliveries, documentation, and vehicle inspections. This position is ideal for individuals who are dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced in commercial trucking operations, looking to contribute their skills in a dynamic delivery environment.
