Job Description

Grapevine Golf Cars partnered with Mission Golf Cars is hiring for the position of Delivery Driver. Delivery drivers are responsible for utilizing Grapevine Golf Car's vehicles and trailers to pick-up and deliver golf carts around the Texas area. Drivers will also assist porters, technicians, and mechanics with their assigned duties when not on the road, including: some janitorial work, washing golf cars, light-duty service work, and assisting with repair jobs as needed.
Job Duties:
Responsible for picking up and delivering golf cars around the Texas area using our company vehicles and trailers in a timely manner over required route, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations. Assists with final cleaning/detailing of golf cars for customer or store delivery. Deftly maneuvers truck and trailer into loading and unloading areas; follows loading crew signals. Loads and unloads or assists with loading and unloading of goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted; unloads empty skids and returns all equipment to designated area. Maintains signed invoices, shipping bills of lading, and other required paperwork; delivers documentation to shipping office or other appropriate staff when delivery route is complete. Ensures trucks and trailers are disconnected and put away at the end of each day and ensure driveways are clear for traffic. Conducts monthly preventative maintenance on both trucks and trailers for oil, air filters, tires, lights etc. Respond to customer problems or complaints.
Skills & Qualifications:
Take pride in personal appearance and hygiene Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with the ability to speak professionally and courteously with customers and staff at delivery points. Ability to remain focused in busy environment. After all PU/DEL are complete for the day, assist with service department in organizing service cars in the yard Performs other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
Required:
Delivery driver experience 1 year. •Uber/Lyft driving experience will not be considered Experienced pulling and backing trailers from 10' to 40 feet plus Experience pulling bumper pull, gooseneck, and enclosed box trailers Driver's License with a clean record Must be able to pass drug test
Commercial Driver's License Physical Demands:
Prolonged periods sitting in a truck cab. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds at a time. Must be able to travel daily, home every night

$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
