Job Description
We are now needing Seasonal Part Time drivers. Our season goes from OCT-DEC. Possibilities for future full time opportunity, and opportunities for Spring/Summer Season as well. Position does require early morning availability and applicant must be at least 25 yrs. Please note that while our name is "Conroe", we are located between New Waverly and Huntsville, TX off of Hwy 75. Conroe Greenhouses, a wholesale bedding plant grower, is in need of a driver for delivery of live plants. Daily deliveries include early mornings M-F. No overnight deliveries. Trucks are a 24' bobtail box with a liftgate on the rear. Drivers need to be able to push and pull heavy plant racks off and on the trucks. We are seeking drivers with the following attributes:
- Personable, honest, and trustworthy
- Self Motivated
- Be on time
- Strong back and in good physical condition
- Capable of loading and unloading plant trays to and from plant racks
- Ability to move heavy plants racks on and off truck liftgate required.
- Able to obtain a Class B CDL, but not required
- Pass a DOT physical and drug testing
- Have a clean driving record
