Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking motivated and dependable non-CDL drivers to join our team, specializing in the installation and delivery of appliances. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work hands-on with a variety of household appliances, ensuring timely and professional installation for our valued customers. As a key member of our installation crew, you will operate company vehicles, handle appliance deliveries, and perform precise installations that meet safety and quality standards. Your energetic approach and customer-focused attitude will help us deliver exceptional service and enhance customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate company vehicles to transport appliances to customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols Unload appliances from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques Install appliances according to manufacturer specifications, schematics, and local codes, including refrigeration units, washers, dryers, ovens, and other household appliances Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mechanical equipment to complete installations efficiently and accurately Troubleshoot appliance issues during installation or post-installation, identifying mechanical or electrical problems and implementing repairs or adjustments as needed Read and interpret schematics, electrical diagrams, plumbing layouts, and technical manuals to ensure proper setup Provide excellent customer service by explaining appliance features, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the installation process Qualifications Prior experience with appliance installation or repair is highly preferred Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in refrigeration systems, electrical work, plumbing connections, and equipment troubleshooting Ability to use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other mechanical equipment safely and effectively Experience working with schematics, electrical diagrams, or technical manuals is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating company vehicles preferred Knowledge of electrical work, plumbing systems, and appliance repair techniques Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities Ability to lift heavy appliances safely and work in various physical environments Experience with maintenance, repair & operations (MRO), equipment repair or similar roles is advantageous Join us in delivering top-tier appliance installation services!
