Role:

Hess Furniture Company, Inc. is looking for a hardworking and dependable Delivery Driver & Warehouse Associate to join our team in Mt Pleasant, TX! This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in getting beautiful furniture into the hands of our customers while keeping our warehouse running smoothly. If you enjoy staying active, working with a great team, and taking pride in a job well done, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Safely load, transport, and deliver furniture and appliances to customer homes and businesses in a timely manner Professionally interact with customers during deliveries, ensuring a positive experience Assist with furniture assembly and placement at delivery locations as needed Receive, unload, and organize incoming inventory in the warehouse Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment Inspect furniture for damage before and after transport and report any issues Assist with pulling, staging, and preparing orders for delivery

Requirements:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) regularly Prior delivery, warehouse, or furniture experience is a plus Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team Strong customer service skills and a professional, friendly demeanor Ability to navigate local routes efficiently
