Duties Safely operate a box truck to deliver packages to residential and commercial customers within assigned routes Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as dollies Adhere strictly to traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, and safe lifting practices during all driving and delivery activities Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring timely deliveries, and handling packages with care Delivery drivers must: Be 21 years of age or older. Have a valid driver license and clean driving record. (No more than 2 minor violations in the last three years.) Pass a pre-employment drug screen and ongoing random drug screens. (THC is a dealbreaker per FedEx guidelines) Pass a DOT physical Pass a background check Possess customer service skills. Be able to handle packages up to 150 lbs.
