Job Description
Job Summary Warren Foods is looking for a dependable, experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team on a part-time basis. This position is ideal for someone looking for flexible local work with the opportunity for more consistent hours as our business continues to grow. You'll primarily haul local cardboard recycling loads between Ogden and Salt Lake City, cover trailer spotting shifts when needed, and assist with other local freight throughout Northern Utah and Southeast Idaho. You'll be home every night. What You'll Do Safely operate 13-speed manual transmission tractors Haul local dry van and refrigerated freight Run cardboard recycling routes between Ogden and Salt Lake City Cover trailer spotting shifts when needed Perform occasional driver unloads Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate electronic logs using Verizon Connect Provide professional customer service at customer locations Equipment Our fleet includes International, Peterbilt, and Kenworth tractors, day cabs, sleeper cabs, and yard dogs. While trucks are shared, drivers typically operate the same equipment depending on the type of work: Cardboard recycling routes generally use the same assigned tractor Trailer spotting shifts are performed with our yard dogs Idaho runs are typically completed using sleeper tractors Schedule This is a flexible, part-time position averaging 10-25 hours per week initially.
