Delivery Driver

DHR Logistics, a FedEx Ground Contractor, is seeking a reliable and responsible Delivery Driver (Non-CDL) to join our delivery team. The ideal candidate will have experience driving box trucks, a clean driving record, and a commitment to ensuring safe, timely deliveries to our customers. As a delivery driver, you will be responsible for loading, transporting, and unloading goods while providing excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities :

Safely operate 26 foot box trucks and P1000's for local and regional deliveries. Load and unload goods, ensuring that products are handled with care and delivered in good condition. Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate delivery records, including logs, delivery confirmations, and receipts. Communicate with dispatch and customers regarding delivery times, any delays, or issues encountered. Assist with loading/unloading at warehouse or customer locations, using hand trucks or other equipment as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing any delivery concerns and maintaining professionalism. Ensure cleanliness and basic maintenance of the vehicle.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive and operate a non-CDL box truck 26 ft box truck and P1000 Complete 160+ stops per route Experience in driving, loading, and unloading goods preferred. Ability to lift, move, and carry items up to 150 lbs Good knowledge of local and regional roadways. Strong time management skills and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety regulations.

Preferred Qualifications :

The ability to lift up to 150 lbs. Valid driver's license—no CDL required Pass the DOT physical and drug screening, FedEx does test for Marijuana Excellent customer service and driving skills
