Job Summary We are seeking an energetic and reliable Pharmacy Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team! Responsibilities Safely operate there own personal vehicles, to transport pharmacy orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload medication packages using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary. Follow designated routes using mobile devices or GPS systems, adhering strictly to traffic laws and DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations. Communicate professionally with customers upon delivery, providing excellent customer service and addressing any questions or concerns. Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and vehicle inspection reports as required by company policies. Assist with warehouse operations when needed, including inventory management and material movement within the facility. Requirements Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating box trucks, commercial trucks, or vans is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely; familiarity with heavy lifting techniques is advantageous. Knowledge of traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) compliance standards. Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is desirable but not mandatory; training will be provided if needed. Proficiency with mobile devices for route navigation and communication purposes. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude; excellent communication abilities are essential. Ability to work independently while managing time effectively across multiple deliveries throughout the day.
