Job Description
Overview Are you 21 or older? Do you have a valid driver's license? If your answer is yes to both questions then Join our dynamic team as an Amazon Delivery Associate and become a vital part of delivering smiles to customers every day! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages using various delivery vans. Your enthusiasm and commitment to excellent customer service will ensure timely deliveries and positive experiences for our customers. This paid position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your driving skills, gain warehouse experience, and be part of a fast-paced logistics environment that values safety, reliability, and teamwork. The position offers 10 hour shift with breaks during the day. Responsibilities Safely operate delivery vehicles while adhering to all traffic regulations standards. Deliver packages weighing up to 50 pounds Plan efficient delivery routes using Amazon technology and provided mobile devices or route management systems to maximize productivity. Deliver packages directly to customers' homes or businesses, providing friendly and professional customer service at each stop. Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries, including obtaining signatures when required and updating delivery status via mobile devices. Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly. Follow all warehouse operations procedures when handling packages in storage or during loading/unloading processes. Experience Prior experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability to handle heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in accordance with workplace weight handling regulations. Experience operating commercial vans. Strong knowledge of traffic laws Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally.
