Are you an experienced, reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver looking for a change from the 100-200+ stops you currently have each day? Imagine only having 20-70 stops. We have a unique job in a fast paced environment delivering large parcels that will allow you to excel and grow as fast and as far as your efforts will take you! (As we only deal with large and heavy parcels, weaklings need not apply!) Come join us! Job Summary We are a local family owned Delivery Service Partner for a leading e-commerce company based in the Hampton Roads since 2020. We are currently looking for safe, reliable, and motivated Delivery Drivers to obsess over our customers by achieving outstanding performance in a fast paced environment. Our Delivery Drivers strive to get every order to the customer's door safely, on-time, and without damage using 16-foot and 24-foot box trucks equipped with the latest technology. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading and transporting packages to customer locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle heavy lifting, making it essential for candidates to be physically fit and capable of managing the demands of the job. Duties Safely operate a box truck or other delivery vehicles to transport goods to designated locations. Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from customer, Follow customer instructions and perform services as required per customer orders Load, unload, and deliver packages from 50 to 300lbs safely and efficiently, ensuring that all products are handled with care. Follow designated routes and schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Conduct daily vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and compliance with company standards. Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle Help and assist your teammates at the warehouse and on the road as needed Skills Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction. Previous experience in delivery operations is a plus. Commercial driving experience required, particularly with box trucks. Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities and route driving techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks safely. Experience operating pallet jacks is beneficial. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record keeping. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
