May also take orders, collect payment, or stock merchandise at point of delivery. Includes newspaper delivery drivers. Excludes gig economy drivers.

Job Description
Duties:
- Operate and drive tractor-trailers and vehicles with manual transmissions.
- Transport goods over short and long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in commercial driving and route driving.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety at all times.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
