Job Description

United Shippers Corp is seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. We have openings on our Day and Night Shifts. Also a weekend Part-Time shift available. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods across various distances. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service.
Duties:
  • Operate and drive tractor-trailers and vehicles with manual transmissions.
  • Transport goods over short and long distances while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and secure it properly.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transportation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Qualifications:
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving and route driving.
  • Strong attention to detail and a focus on safety at all times.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
