As a Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. PM What You'll Do:
Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a manufacturing and industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, equipment alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, production support spaces, parking areas, access points, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and assist with compliance with site entry and exit procedures.
Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs accurately and in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 19 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
