Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and motivated 2nd Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. The routes run Monday - Fridays, no weekends. This position will work closely with the primary driver. Duties Operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to transport goods efficiently. Plan and follow optimal routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations. Load and unload products using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks. Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability. Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials as required during loading and unloading processes. Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation. Skills Proficient in route driving with a strong understanding of navigation systems. Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles when necessary. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Experience operating box trucks or similar delivery vehicles. Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Familiarity with using pallet jacks for moving goods. Previous experience as a delivery driver is preferred but not required.
