Job Description

Performance Food Group is seeking a safety-focused Class A Delivery Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics team. In this fast-paced, customer-centered role, you will safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers. Responsibilities include accurate order verification, loading/unloading using pallet jacks or hand trucks, completing required DOT/ELD documentation, and providing courteous, professional service. You'll work closely with dispatch and warehouse teams, follow all safety and food-handling standards, and represent PFG's performance-driven, team-oriented culture on every route, with opportunities for growth across our nationwide operations. Responsibilities Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on assigned delivery routes Deliver food and related products to restaurants, schools, healthcare, and retail customers Verify orders, complete paperwork, and maintain accurate ELD/DOT logs Load and unload product using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and lift gates Follow all DOT, company safety, and food-handling regulations Communicate with dispatch and warehouse regarding route status and issues Provide professional, customer-focused service at every delivery stop Inspect vehicle daily and report/coordinate needed maintenance Secure loads to prevent damage and ensure safe transport Represent Performance Food Group's values of safety, integrity, and teamwork Required Skills Class A CDL truck operation Local route and city driving Knowledge of
