Job Description

Join our small but dedicated trucking company based in Superior, WI as a Truck Driver with a Class A CDL. This role involves solo driving to transport salt and lime bulk loads to locations around Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota, and Canada. We provide flexible full-time and part-time schedules, supportive benefits, and opportunities to operate various trailer types. Home daily position, with the option for occasional overnight runs. 4-6 days weekly for full time. (alternating weekends on 6 day schedule, plus 6th day pay) Responsibilities Transport salt and lime bulk loads to specified locations around Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, North Dakota, and Canada Operate pneumatic dry bulk tankers, end dump, side dump, and flatbed trailers safely Load and unload cargo efficiently while maintaining proper handling Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure roadworthiness with pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery records Adhere strictly to safety and compliance regulations on all routes Manage time effectively to meet delivery schedules, working 4-6 days for full time (alternating weekends on 6 day schedule, plus 6th day pay), weekday shift options, and weekend only shift options available Maintain a home daily schedule Required Qualifications Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - no restrictions Minimum of 2 years commercial driving experience Experience in commercial driving with strong safety compliance Ability to perform pre-trip and post trip inspections Effective time management skills Preferred Qualifications Experience operating pneumatic dry bulk tankers and dump trailers a plus Familiarity with local and cross-border route navigation including Canadian destinations Strong record of safety compliance and DOT regulations
