Responsibilities Safely operate various vehicles including commercial trucks and automobiles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies Plan efficient delivery routes using organizational skills to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction Load, unload, and secure merchandise with proper heavy lifting practices to prevent damage or injury Deliver orders to residential customers with professionalism and a focus on customer relationship building Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, mileage logs, and route reports for compliance and record-keeping purposes Communicate effectively with clients regarding delivery times, product details, or any issues that may arise during routes Skills Proven experience in commercial driving, route driving, or retail store delivery roles Strong knowledge of pricing strategies and basic math for accurate transactions and measurements Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team coordination Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices Familiarity with merchandising techniques to ensure proper product presentation during deliveries Demonstrated organizational skills to manage schedules, routes, and documentation efficiently Knowledge of DOT regulations, automobile transportation standards, and safety protocols related to commercial truck driving Customer service orientation with the ability to build lasting client relationships through friendly and professional interactions Join us as a Delivery Driver where your drive makes a difference!
