Summary:

Tool Room/Guard Shack Attendant performs multiple functions to help streamline the daily business of Metromont. The duties include but are not limited to greeting and directing visitors and traffic to the proper location in the plant, production support, coordinating pickups and deliveries with operations, assisting associates with tools, and other functions assigned by the Supply Chain Manager. SCHEDULE 1: Monday & Tuesday 6:00am

•2:30pm and Saturday & Sunday 5:00am

•5:00pm

SCHEDULE 2

Wednesday & Thursday 6:00am

•2:30pm & Saturday & Sunday 5:00pm

•5:00am

Responsibilities & Duties:

Greeting visitors and directing traffic vehicles Monitor and maintain stock levels and identify purchasing needs Receive daily plant deliveries and check in against the packing slip. Distribute deliveries to each department promptly. Maintain accurate inventory and assist with monthly cycle counts Ensure that proper safety equipment and personal protective equipment are used while performing duties Maintain cleanliness of tool room, warehouse, and pad area Act as backup to Driver/Tool Room Assistant with various tasks

Qualifications:

Solid organizational skills Attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills (managers, supervisors, customers) Ability to work independently Operate a forklift Ability to stand and walk continuously while performing essential functions for an extended period of time

Experience:

Previous construction experience is preferred
