Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Crew Boat Captain to lead water transportation operations with enthusiasm and precision. Must have a USCG 6 Pack license or greater. As a vital part of our maritime team, you will be responsible for safely navigating vessels, managing crew members, and ensuring seamless water transit services. Your expertise in vessel handling, maritime safety procedures, and crew management will drive operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of safety and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead in the water transportation industry, ensuring reliable service and fostering a safe working environment. Duties Operate and navigate crew boats in accordance with US Coast Guard (USCG) regulations and maritime safety procedures Manage and supervise crew members, ensuring effective communication and teamwork during all operations Conduct vessel inspections, routine maintenance, and repairs to ensure vessel safety and readiness Oversee rigging, heavy lifting, and manual handling tasks required for vessel operations and cargo management Implement maritime safety protocols, including emergency response plans and safety drills for crew members Maintain accurate logs of vessel movements, safety checks, maintenance activities, and incident reports Coordinate with management to plan routes, schedules, and operational logistics for water transportation services Qualifications Proven experience in water transportation industry roles with a strong background in boat handling and vessel management Extensive knowledge of USCG regulations governing maritime operations and vessel safety standards Skilled in marine navigation systems, vessel maintenance, rigging, heavy lifting, and mechanical troubleshooting Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively as a ship supervisor or captain in a maritime environment Strong understanding of maritime safety procedures, crew communication protocols, and emergency response strategies Prior military experience or training in maritime operations is highly desirable Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while adhering to maritime safety procedures Mechanical knowledge related to vessel systems and water transportation equipment maintenance Join us as a Crew Boat Captain to lead with confidence on the water! $30.00 - $33.00 per hour
