Truck Driver Sunbelt Solomon United States, Alabama, Elba 2450 Industrial Boulevard South (Show on map) Apr 12, 2026
Role and Responsibilities:
Be able to operate a tractor-trailer in a safe manner to deliver and pickup electrical equipment. This position will average approximately 2,500 miles per week. Physically assist with loading and unloading equipment; ensure the load being hauled is properly secured with straps, chains, etc. Maintain compliance with Federal DOT regulations (Log Books, etc.) as well as neat and proper completion of Solomon Corporation load documentation (Load sheets, manifests, etc.) Insists on safety as job number one.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Class A CDL, required Three years safe driving record, required Hazmat endorsement , required Experience in completing loading and unloading paperwork, preferred Knowledge of electrical equipment, manufacturing operations and logistics, preferred Requires ability for overnight travel.
Additional Requirements:
Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers. A dependable and strong work ethic. Professional language and conduct at all times. Ability to learn other areas sufficient to fill in where required.
