CDL driver Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all DOT and company regulations
• Pick up, transport, and deliver products/materials to customers and job sites
• Load and unload deliveries as needed
• Verify delivery paperwork, invoices, and quantities
• Maintain accurate delivery records
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with customers and company staff
• Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules
• Report vehicle maintenance issues or safety concerns promptly
• Assist with general warehouse or loading duties when needed
• Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner Qualifications
• Valid Class A or Class B CDL , as required for the position
• Clean and acceptable driving record
• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred
• Current DOT medical card, if required
• Ability to safely lift, load, and unload materials
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Must be able to pass required background and drug screening
• Knowledge of Alabama roads and surrounding areas is a plus
