The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste and recyclable materials. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to perform heavy lifting as needed. Responsibilities Operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver containers at designated locations. Ensure proper loading and unloading of materials while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and any incidents that occur during transport. Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules and any issues that arise. Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving in various conditions. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to various types of trucks including roll-off, front loader, rear loader, dump truck, flatbed, and tractor-trailer. Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle type. Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles effectively. Experience as a delivery driver is preferred. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with regulations. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
