Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Local Class A CDL Driver with Hazmat Endorsement and become a vital part of our logistics operation! You'll be responsible for transporting hazardous materials while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. Duties Transport Fuel (hazmat) using proper handling procedures, including tankers, following all hazardous materials regulations. Navigate efficiently using GPS navigation systems to plan optimal routes for over-the-road (OTR) driving routes and local deliveries. Pump fuel into various pieces of equipment and tanks. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Maintain accurate logs, cargo documentation, and delivery records in accordance with FMCSA regulations. Skills Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including delivery driving on route driving schedules. Strong knowledge of truck loading/unloading procedures, manual handling techniques, and logistics cargo handling. Familiarity with GPS navigation tools for route planning and real-time adjustments. Understanding of hazardous materials regulations (hazmat) and safe handling practices for dangerous goods. Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record; Knowledge of FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards governing commercial trucking operations.
