Job Overview We are seeking a CDL Driver to join the Anderson Lumber team. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating various types of vehicles often including a straight truck, forklift, flatbed, or box truck. As well as pulling lumber or various tasks in the yard on a regular basis. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles. Follow traffic laws, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures during all routes. Communicate effectively with coworkers and customers. Maintain accurate logs of trips, incidents, and vehicle maintenance reports as required by company policy. Qualifications Valid CDL, Class A or B. Ability to operate forklift. Understanding of handling and transporting materials. Knowledge of traffic laws, vehicle codes, transportation safety regulations, and emergency response procedures for transportation. Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling equipment. Mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance awareness. Customer service skills with a friendly attitude; ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.

Pay:

$20.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 - 53.0 per week
